WZA crafts classic UKG with new EP Control, The enigmatic producer contributes a killer collection of tunes to DJ EZ’s Nuvolve label.

Enigmatic producer WZA unveils his exhilarating new EP Control, out 21st July on DJ EZ’s Nuvolve label.

Shrouded in mystery, the producer shows off his specialty for killer hooks and masterful productions all across Control. EP opener and title track ‘Control’ builds on an irrepressible garage groove with brooding synths, bouncing bass, and ingenious vocal hooks. ‘I Just Wanna Be Free’ slows the tempo and spaces out the mix before erupting in an exhilarating blast of low end and breakbeats. ‘Let The Music’ closes the release with a flourish, carving a tight jam out of plinking pianos with rasping hi-hats and vibrant synth pads.

Red-hot up-and-comer WZA is an enigma in the UKG scene, building a rising reputation purely on the head-turning quality of his music. Little is known about the artist, other than that he has a knack for crafting killer garage tunes with unerring consistency. Let The Music is WZA’s first major release music via DJ EZ's Nuvolve label, following their EP Deception earlier this year. Flying the flag for the constant evolution of the Garage genre, Nuvolve shines a light on future sounds and emerging artists whilst never forgetting its roots. A roster where legends like Todd Edwards and Sweet Female Attitude rub shoulders with white-hot risers like MPH and WZA, pays testament to the label’s unique position of showcasing the brightest and best artists of the future alongside those of the past.
