Suns out, vibes out: rising Italian talents Prodigal Mind join the NUVOLVE family with the sublime and timeless sounds of ‘You Got Me’.

Following the recent emotional serenades of Fabian Dubz, Sarah Etheridge and Dpart’s ‘Missin’ You’ and Sadyouth and Dread MC’s ‘Miss You’, NUVOLVE flip the script once again with this joyously bouncy record that’s tailored for the heart of the dancefloor.

Make way for ‘You Got Me’, a quintessential UKG workout. A cut characterised by sassy keys, springy two-step beats, sugar-sweet vocals and a groove that never sits still, it comes courtesy ofyoung Italian pair Prodigal Mind.

Arguably the duo’s biggest release so far, Lucian and Luigi first came together in 2019. Inspired by all shades, shapes and styles of electronic dance music – especially the seminal sounds of the 90s and deep house – they released their debut single in March 2020 just as covid-19 started to re-route all of our lives.

Despite the challenges they’ve faced as an act emerging during these turbulent times, they’ve made considerable impact with releases on the likes of Candyflip, Black Lizard Records and Southbeat. Each record showcasing a different element and ingredient to their hearty Italian melting pot, over the last two years they’ve forged their own exciting sound that flexes around their favourite studio weapon… Their beloved KORG synth.

Now they level up once again with ‘You Got Me’. A pivotal moment in their discography, and already tried and tested by NUVOLVE founder DJ EZ both on the airwaves and the dancefloors, ‘You Got Me’ will be an essential go-to jam for many vibe loving house and garage selectors, connoisseurs and ravers this season.
